The hotel is located close to the gigantic Chicago airport. I stayed here for a couple of days and saved lots of money.
1, The hotel rate was around $50/night, which is a fraction of downtown Chicago hotels.
2. I used the courtesy shuttle to the hotel and back and forth to the airport on a daily basis. You can take the Chicago metro from the hotel into downtown.
3. There were no expensive restaurants nearby. Just a subway, Burger King, and a bar and grill. If you want to purchase beer you can go to the bar and grill and drink there. Or, you can buy beer from their cooler. The prices from the cooler were the same as those found in a convenience store. Oh, yeah, there is a Marathon Oil gas station and convenience store next to the Burger King.
So in the end you will not have to spend much money in this area.
The rooms were fairly impressive. The bed was large. The heater worked well. The TV had cable. The bathroom was fair, with a sort of jacuzzi-type tub.
There was a coffee maker.
Also, free HI-Speed internet.
There is a morning breakfast, but I missed it everyday. I did go in at check out and made some tea.
