I booked a group of rooms here for a bus trip I organized. We picked this hotel because it was just off the interstate and had a competitive price.
The lady that I dealt with to book the rooms (Gail) was very helpful and pleasant. (emailed and talked to her on the phone multiple times before). When we arrived there they had all the keys ready to go with the rooms and people.
The rooms were decent sized, but outdated. The pillows were very small and thin- had to call down to ask for more, and the lady at the front desk made a big deal about it.

Gail was not working when I was there, but emailed me after our trip to thank us for our busines and hoped we enjoyed our stay, this was very thoughtful.

This is by far the best Quality Inn I have stayed at. I usually stay at the Comfort Inn in Elk Grove but for some reason its closed and board up, But back to this hotel, I noticed upon booking was it was a former Hampton Inn at some time, and I was a little scared because I have stayed at former Quality Inn's that were Hamptons and they were terrible, but with the reviews I seemed happy with my decision, and well Iam.

Our room was recently just repainted. Looked very nice, but smelled of fresh paint (duh) One thing I noticed was we were missing a fridge and microwave like most people writing reviews said they had.

Breakfast was great, all the items were fully stocked, and the lady running the area was friendly and helpful.

The front desk staff was a wonderful blessing as well. We are from another state, and they helped us on ways to navigate around Chicago.

If we decide to come back I will choose that hotel again.

My family and I have actually stayed here several times using a park/sleep/fly package. Our most recent stay was in November.

The hotel is basic, but clean enough. The furniture is on par with a three-star hotel. The staff is friendly enough, but not "above and beyond" in service. The main reason we stay here is for the convenience and price.

We usually miss the free breakfast in the morning because we have an early a.m. flight. There used to be a restaurant across the street, but that has closed, so to get food (outside of breakfast) you have to drive.

On this last trip I was strapping our yougest kid's carseat into the airport shuttle van and the plastic casing over the seatbelt "roll" fell apart in my hands. On our next trip I will try a different property as the vans are just too outdated and falling apart for my comfort.

On an unusual note, on our return trip, we when we called the hotel for a pick up we discovered we had just missed the van. The front desk attendant offered to see if the shuttle for their sister property, the Super 8 could pick us up. Sure enough, they were available, which we really appreciated. To my surprise, the shuttle was a brand new Honda Odyssey minivan! A much nicer ride than the old, falling apart shuttle van owned by the Quality Inn & Suites.

Will stay here again for the park, sleep, fly package. Hotel front desk people very friendly and very helpful. Rooms are basic but very clean. Wifi works great in the rooms. Shuttle going to airport, no problem. And when we called for the shuttle back to the hotel, the lady at desk said it would about 10 minutes. I hung up my phone and walked out the door, and there was our shuttle. I now this was the luck of the draw, but overall well satisfied with the shuttle. Will stay again.
