Let me start by saying about half the hotel looked like it was being remodeled, so perhaps when it is completed it will be better. My husband has platinum status with Holiday Inn so we are suppose to always get an automatic upgade. That didn't happen because no upgraded rooms were available. Not a huge deal as I really just needed a place to sleep on the way to St. Louis. Walked into the room and the sink for the bathroom is right next to you when you walk in. Just an unexpected look to a hotel room. The real killer was the parking light that shined right into my window, and even with the light blocking curtain there was a glow into the room. Also, the doors to the armoire tv cabinet didn't stay open unless you pulled the tv out to prop them open. Breakfast was typical, but so crowded I couldn't stand to be there. If all you really want is a bed (and not necessarily a dark room), you'll be fine.
