I stayed here twice on my trip out east and my way back home. The hotel was going through some remodeling and some rooms were out of order. the first room I stayed in didn't have the wall arround the new window finished but both rooms I stayed in were clean, and presentable. The hotel has 4 floors and has one elevator. They offer a breakfast which I didn't have a chance to enjoy as I had to leave very early. Their rates are competitve with the other hotels in Effingham and gives a quiet comfortable night's rest. The have free wifi.

As usual, the woman at the front desk was rude upon check in. She was not accomodating, and had a survly attitude. My room had duct tape in the shower and smelled bad. This is the third or fourth time I have stayed here for business and it has disappointed every time. The front desk woman is really a mess. My company wont be back again.

this hotel is so safe great area if you are traveling solo go here the hotel staff so nice make you feel so welcome we stay here maybe four times a year and love it the food is great the serivce and happy faces make you feel welcome i wont stay anywhere else this is the best hotel in the state to stay ,

Old dark rooms with hard as rock beds.
Rude front desk receptionist(s)
And over priced rooms =never again for this family!!!
There are several hotels to choose from in Effingham pass this one by!!!
