“Stay somewhere else or drive 20 mins and stay in St. Louis”

Stayed there for 2 nights because we were in the area for a wedding. I went to college in Edwardsville and remember when this place opened in or around 2000. The room that we stayed in really needed to be updated. Rooms were quiet and the free breakfast was nice BUT the front desk workers (college students) were rude and forgot to set up a wake-up call that I specifically asked for (in person at the desk). Parking was convenient but make sure you do not miss the entry drive to the hotel as it is located in a funky place. There are great places to eat in the area and the Comfort Inn is located 5 minutes from SIU-Edwardsville and 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis.

  • Liked — Sheets on bed were very soft.
  • Disliked — Customer service at the front desk was AWFUL!

“Not My Favorite Comfort Inn”

I've said this before, our road trips are a "connect the dots" between Comfort Inns. This one was a stopping point on the way home & it was "fine". The breakfast was "fine" too. I'm guessing this location either got overlooked or is next in line for a remodel. Nothing bad to say. Alot of nearby restaurants and right off the highway.

“Stolen Computer”

Stayed there on March 10 & 11, 06 and had my laptop computer stolen from the hotel room and because there wasn't a forced entry to the room and the door was locked when we left...

Would I recommend this hotel... absolutely not!! I can truely say I have never been treated worse by a hotel staff in my life!

“the place smells like dirty feet”

I spent one night at this Comfort Inn and checked out the next morning and went to the Drury Inn in Collinsville. It had a very foul odor in the hallways, smelling like dirty feet. There is no comparing the cleanliness of this hotel, and the Drury. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!
