We stayed at Stoney Creek Inn last November and had a wonderful get away. The room was great, very roomy and clean. The service at the breakfast the next morning was good and the food was great! We also had our son's wedding reception there and the organization along with the room will forever be a very special memory!

This was my third time staying here when going to East Peoria to see the Christmas Lights. I stat with my friend, her sister, and their 4 seven year old grandchildren in two rooms. The rooms are decorated nicely and we have never had a problem with cleanliness. This year we were in the adjoining building, which suited us just fine (next year, we will request it). Two of the three nights we stayed there, we had the lobby of that building to ourselves. It contained a t.v. and a gas fireplace that worked with the turn of a knob. It was a wonderful place for the children to play together. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which had enough choices so we could eat something different each day. The children (and me too) enjoy the indoor/outdoor pool. It's an experience to be able to swim outside on a very cold day. It is also about a block from the river, so we go walking there. I like staying at Stoney Creek and will stay there each time I go to Peoria. P.S. They had a Holiday Rate at the time we went, so the price was excellent!

My husband and I stayed there Jan.25-27 2012. Our room was clean and comfortable and quiet. My two biggest complaints were not enough lighting to be able to sit and read. The room was pretty dim. Also there's simply not enough bathroom counter space. The hotel employees were all very friendly and polite. They have a free breakfast but the set up is way too crowded, so that needs to be better laid out and organized. The pool and hot tub were fine but the pool water wasn't very clear and the hot tub temp was only tepid. They have a dry sauna in the pool area but it would be much better if it was steam instead. A nice place overall.

We love staying at the Stoney Creek Inn in East Peoria, IL. The people are very friendly, and the hotel is very nice and clean. The Continental breakfast is awesome, and it is very, very nice to see that someone maintains it, and takes pride in taking care of the breakfast the whole time they are open. The pool, whirlpool & workout area are a great way to escape.
