Customer service reps at this hotel made it clear that they were unwilling to accomodate our requests just because we booked with Priceline. Not only that, but she was downright rude. I also find anyone working at the front desk with bright pink hair and multiple piercings to be unprofessional.
Priceline only guarantees a room will sleep two people, which us understandable. However, I have never had a problem requesting a room with two beds any other time I have used Priceline. Even though there were clearly rooms with two beds available, they gave us a difficult time with upgrading and charged us a fee. They were unwilling to work out any other upgrade options with us, despite our willingness to pay more, because we had used Priceline.
For the same reason, it was nearly impossible to get enough towels and pillows for our group. Rooms were stocked with two cups, and the front desk staff refused to provide us with more. They also were unable to provide us with maps of the area or CTA routes/schedules. The hotel room itself was cramped, and nothing special. It would have been fine if not for the other issues.
I would never return to this hotel, even if it was free. My money is better spent on places that respect my business, regardless of how the hotel room was booked.
