While the hotel was nice and fairly clean, I would not recommend staying here. I returned on my third night at the hotel to find my toiletry kit was missing medication I had brought with me. Nothing I can prove, but it is the first time in years of this has happened. Even though I requested a different maid It bothered me knowing this person might still have access to my room.

We stayed one night while attending a funeral nearby. The room was nice and the breakfast decent. The elevator is slow, but not a big problem. There is a Cracker Barrel nearby and a closed restaurant next door. There are several hotels in the area.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel. The room had apparently been changed from a smoking room to a non-smoking room in the recent renovation, but it smelled awful, particularly the bathroom, whose toilet had not been cleaned for a long while. Every surface was sticky, there were hairs on the pillows, and hair in the tub. To cap it all off, a staff person tried to double-charge us and lied about it in our hearing when we called the credit card company to confirm that we had, indeed, prepaid. We won't stay there again, and advise others to be warned.

When I arrived the roof was being re-done so there was
a lot of dangerous wires, etc. laying around. Once inside
the hotel seemed nice. Upon entering the elevator I noticed
that the carpet was filthy and worn. After a walk down
the hall to my room the carpet was still worn out but did
not think much of it until I entered my room and went into
the bathroom. There were dirty foot prints all over the bathroom
floor from my shoes!!! Disgusting! After I took my shoes off
and walked around in my socks I checked out the bottom...
BLACK! how gross that the carpet was that filthy!
The next morning when I went to take a shower the shower
head was pulled out from the wall. Upon turning it on there
was not a shower but a stream of sorts coming out.
Very basic hotel that needs a real deep super clean.
Close to shopping and restaurants...that is the only plus.
At the time I am writing this review the Country Inn is rated
number one in the area. It makes me cringe to think what the
rest of the hotels are like if this is number one!!!
