We stayed at this hotel in September 2011 on our way to Chicago. We did not have a reservation so we probably paid a little more than if we would have made a reservation on the internet. We stayed on the ground floor, large room, very neat and very clean and the gentleman at the desk when we checked in was very friendly and helpful. He recommended a nice restaurant in DeKalb to eat. Although we didn't use it, the indoor pool appeared neat and clean, but the floor could have used a fresh coat of paint. The breakfast was the typical continental breakfast, pastries, toast, cold cereal, toaster waffles, orange and apple juice and coffee. This is probably the nicest Super 8 hotel we have stayed in. We would recommend and stay at this hotel again.

We had been on the road for two weeks, lots of vacation and visiting. We were looking for simple... a good bed, hot showers, air conditioning, Internet, and general cleanliness. This motel met the bill. The mattresses were wonderfully comfortable. One daughter needs the morning jog, so she headed out into cornfield surrounded side roads since there was no exercise room. She was happy. Forget the breakfast ... simply not good. But for what we wanted, this was a perfect selection. Many of the other motels were booked because of the annual "classic car" show.

This hotel is conveniently located. The room is a good size, and everything is functional. Room includes a mini fridge and microwave, also. Bathroom is a bit small, but okay size and the breakfast was good. Just get to the breakfast early so you get stuff, because it goes fast. Would recommend to anyone who isn't traveling for romance or for a nice getaway.

Ample parking. Fast and organized check in. Room was clean. Ample mini fridge in the room. Everything worked. Quick drive to downtown DeKalb. If you want a clean place to sleep and don't need a lot of frills, this is a good deal. The motel has an indoor pool and continental breakfast. Local restaurants will deliver food to the motel.
