The overall stay was satisfactory, but I had several problems. At check-in I paid $5.44 for the wireless Internet that would be available for the duration of my stay (9 nights). I was not able to connect to the Internet the first night. My room had definitely been a smoking room in the past, and smelled faintly of cigarettes. A couple of days later I wanted to wash my dishes, so I went to the front desk to see if they had any dish soap. This was about 9:30 pm and the desk was already closed. I asked the next day when the desk was open and the clerk told me the housekeepers had it. Unfortunately, I did not encounter any housekeepers since they cleaned the rooms while I was at work. Also, about housekeeping...I checked in on a Sunday and was checking out the following Tuesday of the next week. My cleaning day was scheduled for that Thursday, which unfortunately was Thanksgiving. I was out of town for the day and returned to a still-dirty room. I called the front desk and they told me the housekeepers were off that day and Friday for the holiday. I asked when I'd be getting my room cleaned and they told me either that Saturday or the following Monday. I wouldn't have cared much except that I needed dish soap and fresh towels. Saturday came and went with no cleaning. So I waited until Monday (the day before my check-out) and it also came and went with no cleaning. So I had dirty dishes for the last few days of my stay because I could not get any soap. On Sunday I was checking my bank account and noticed a charge for $150 for Extended Stay. I was confused because my company was paying for my entire stay. I called the desk and the clerk was able to reverse the charge...it turns out that since I had given my credit card for the Internet charge when I checked in, it was the last card on file and when the week rolled over, it charged the last card on file. That problem was taken care of without any problems. That Monday I also returned from work to find that my Internet was not working once again. It was now December 1 and the password for the Internet changes at the beginning of the month. I called the front desk for the new password and the clerk told me that she hadn't been given the new password yet. I called the help desk and the recording said that the password could only be obtained from the front desk. So I also did not have Internet for the last day of my stay. The one positive thing is that the bed was very comfortable and I slept very well each night of my stay, but I had so many negative experiences that I will not return to this hotel.
