“Great place, and staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

Staff at front desk was great and took care of all my needs. Restaurant has the best food. Breakfast was included and the food was awesome. The staff in the restaurant were all smiles and attentive to your needs. Pool is very nice and wide open and comfortable. The room had new upgraded comfortable bedding and the pillow menu was a pleasant surprise. After hours, the bar had great staff and atmosphere. The drinks are very pricey. I would reccommend this hotel and I stay here often.

I spent two weeks here and it was excellent. The service and food was great. The pool is one of the best of hotel pools I've seen.

“Needs updating”

I travel quite a bit for work. I generally stick to HIE or Hampton Inn. Based on location, I chose this Holiday Inn. Upon check in, I was pleased to learn there's complementary breakfast M-R. However, I had to walk down 3 hallways to get to my room. Although my room is nicely-sized, it's dated. Fake brick, an older heating/air unit at the window, no wireless in the rooms (although modem/ethernet provided), tired bath area... It's all FINE, I just expected more from a Holiday Inn.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We welcome guest feedback as it allows us the opportunity to improve. Your comments are well noted and I am glad to report that we are in the process of making a final decision on bids for installing wireless Internet for our guest rooms, new energy efficient heat and cooling units are currently in the process of being installed and guest rooms are also in the process of being updated. Our public areas are equipped with wi-fi and in the near future, our guest rooms will be as well. With being a Conference Center, the property is very large so I do apologize for the length of the walk to your room, we would glady honor a request for a room close to the lobby area to lessen the walk. We look forward to welcoming you back so you can experience all the great changes we are making.

Thank you for being our guest!

“Best Pool Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2011

During my stay at the hotel, I made sure to get in the pool every day. I was often the only person in the Olympic size pool. It was absolutely beautiful... everything in the pool area was wood with a ceiling made up of skylights and big windows to take in the scenery outside. There were also two hot tubs, a steam room, sauna, pool tables, and some limited arcade games. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel is right down the street from shopping, restaurants, and a movie theatre.

If I had any complaints to make, it's that a lot of the staff here do not speak English as their primary language. I lost one of my earrings during my stay, and they were not very helpful in finding it. I also had some problems with the room service menu not reflecting accurate prices and general rudeness from the hotel staff in the restaurants. Despite this, I would go back simply to swim in the pool again and pretend I was a millionaire and that it was part of my elaborate home. :0)
