From the moment we arrived, we were greeted, welcomed cheerfully, and helped efficiently! Upon check in, I learned that we had been upgraded from a Standard King room to a lovely suite. I mentioned that it was such a nice surprise since we were celebrating my birthday, and less than an hour later, Ezelier (I think that is his name), one of the bellhops who had greeted us and helped me get luggage to our room, brought a large slice of German chocolate cake up to our room! Later, he helped us get a taxi and, for the remainder of our stay, was attentive and thoughtful. But, everyone who we encountered went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. It was a great value ($106 without tax), a great location, and definitely a hotel where I would stay in the future. My only complaint was the "fitness room"--2 treadmills, and a small weight area, very dinky and unsatisfying. Wish there was a hot tub too :), but you can't have everything! Really enjoyed our stay at the Silversmith!
