Great location. Great staff all work hard to give the best service!

Me and 3 of my girlfriends stayed at the Residence this past weekend for a mini weekend get away. The staff was wonderful, they accomodated all my needs. The rooms were nice. They had a full kitchen and comfortable beds. The hotel was very busy when we were there and we still had no problem getting into our room quickly and getting through the buffett breakfast line in a timely manner. The location of this hotel is awesome and at a great price. Thanks!

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights in July of 2011. It was our first trip to Chicago, and we had a great time! It's in an awesome location, very close to everything! Only 1 block away from the John Hancock Observatory. Loved having the little kitchen and living area, worked out great with the kids. Free breakfast was good - something for everyone! Staff was great, would go back in a heartbeat!

Great location..1/2 block to North Michigan Ave. We stayed in the Studio which was big and had a full kitchen (no oven in the Studio) with stove top, microwave, refrigerator, dish washer,etc. A very extensive free breakfast. As stated by other reviewers the elevators are slow during peak times of the breakfast buffet but the management tells you that in literature in the room. I prefer a bathtub but the shower was modern with a rain forest shower. The room was very inexpensive ($109.00) but that is because it was January in Chicago. The rates are much more for the summer. 4 1/2 blocks to the metro (the El) and we took the metro to and from O'Hare Airport with good directions from the front desk. The one way price of the metro to O'Hare was $2.50..unbelievable. I loved this hotel.
