I stayed here last year (May of 2011), booked for two nights, and walked out after the first night based on the horrible experience. In other words, it was worth my forfeiting the paid-for second night and thus essentially paying double to stay anywhere else. The service was horrendous - front desk was rude, valet staff was completely indifferent (and didn't hold the door for my girlfriend, as they were too busy chatting), and the waitress in the restaurant took 15 minutes to stop by our table and bring us water - in an empty room at 3pm in the afternoon! The room was very average - not particularly large or luxurious in terms of a suite, but absolutely nothing better then 3 star. We stayed at the Hyatt on Wacker the night before, and there was no comparison. This hotel has actually caused me to completely avoid Priceline, as calling this Wyndham 5 star is absurd.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at our hotel, your feedback is very valuable and greatly appreciated. We pride ourselves on our excellent service so I was very disappointed to learn that we did not meet your expectations either in service or in our guest rooms. Please accept my most sincere apologies. I will also be following up on the challenges you mentioned to ensure that this does not happen again. Hopefully in the future you will consider giving us another chance to impress you with our service and our renovated hotel.
