We stay here every year for the Chicago auto show and are never disappointed with our room. Excellent lake and city views. We were upgraded to a suite and had walls of windows lots of room to relax. Beds are very comfortable. Nice pool and gym area. Room service was quick, food hot and tasty. Taxis and Metra easily accessible. Self park easy and in covered lot connected to the hotel.

This was my 2nd visit to the Hyatt at McCormick Place and far better than my 1st a year ago.
I was there for a three day conference.
It really is in the middle of nowhere for those without cars. I had a cold ten block walk from the Chinatown subway station.
Leticia checked me in and was very gracious in providing an upgrade to a corner suite.
The room was huge though a bit sparsely decorated. Very expansive views. One bathroom, but a full kitchen. The desk was unusually small. Great couch and armchairs for entertaining.
Service throughout my stay was very good from hotel and restaurant staff.
The lady who runs Forno is always particularly friendly and always wants to provide a sample while you are waiting for some tasty food.
The only miss was that our room service dishes were out stinking up the corridor from 11 pm till almost noon the next day even though I called immediately to have them picked up and in the morning asked a second time.
I enjoyed the pool this time getting some laps in. Last year I was there on Saturday and it was absolutely full of children, teens and adults. This year I enjoyed it all by myself.
Don't know that I woul stay here if I wasn't at a conference, but all in all a very good stay. Good value for the cost

The staff at this hotel went out of their way to make our stay at pleasant one. From Daniel the Doorman, Louise at the front desk, and the helpful housekeepers , our stay for the NAEYC Conference was very comfortable.
It's the friendly faces of people who care about their work and strive to help the customer that makes a difference.

Just got done with displaying at an Expo in McCormick Place. Staying at Hyatt Regency McCormick made the logistics so much easier. No parking or grabbing taxis morning and night. No having to go outside unless I wanted to. And especially having a close walking distance from my room to the Expo area! Previous years our company had us staying at other hotels and the logistics of parking or cabs and timing was a real pain.

Besides that, the room at the Hyatt was well appointed and generally well kept, with the carpet starting to show some serious wear in our room. The staff was absolutely the best - excellent guest service. On-site parking quite spendy at $30/day if I remember correctly. We will definitely stay here the next time we're displaying at McCormick Place.
