We so enjoyed our stay at the Flemish House in Chicago. Perfect location on a quiet, quaint street which is walking distance to everything. The room was very large, beautifiully decorated with high ceilings, a walk in closet bigger than many hotel rooms, a fully appointed kitchen, dining table and a large bathroom with all the amenities. Our host was so thoughtful, calling us ahead of our flight to recommend the best mode of transporation fror the airport, given the weather. Breakfast was plentiful and offered breads, cereals, juice, fruit and coffee. The off season price was too good to be true, and we have paid much more for far less. We will absolutely return to the lovely Flemish House.

My daughter and I spent several days at Flemish House which had been recommended by a good friend. We could walk everywhere, so location was perfect! Our innkeepers were charming, our apartment like a moment from the past. Breakfast placed in our refrigerator every day for the next morning and a full kitchen so we could cook if we had wanted. Lake Michigan was moments away, as well as attractions and shopping. Our neighborhood was quiet and charming. I loved walking the street. We definitely would return!

I've stayed at the Flemish House of Chicago twice before and am going to stay there again. It's location is ideal for a Chicago visit. It is quiet and comfortable and well appointed. I like having a bedroom, a stocked kitchen and a front room. They provide food in the kitchen such as muffins, cereal, and fruit. It is stocked with dishes, tumblers and stemware, pots and pans if you want to cook or entertain. The price is better than other hotels in the area. It is surrounded by quality restaurants that you can walk to. It is near L stops, bus stops, and taxis are plentiful if needed. The hosts are very accommodating, but never intrusive. I look forward to my next stay there soon. The only negative is that because it is a vintage building, you need to haul luggage upstairs.

This was the perfect place for our family trip to Chicago. We enjoyed the cozy little apartment in 3R, with two doubles and a kitchenette. The location, on the Gold Coast was perfect, especially for morning joggers like us (we had great runs by the Lake). We've often peeked in the windows of the fabulous homes along the Gold Coast, but could never afford one. Well, at least we got to pretend for a few days during our stay. The room had everything, from towels and toiletries to cool art on the walls. The hosts were welcoming and available, at just the right level. We'll be back.
