We really enjoyed our stay at the Carlton and will definitely be staying there again. Our room was very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They shuttled us to a local restaurant our first evening and even made arrangements to have food earlier than usual for our early morning flight. Our drivers Steve & Kevin were exceptionally helpful and courteous and made us feel welcome. It's a great Park & Fly for Midway!

I stayed at the Carlton in September and the staff was excellent, pointing out on the CTA map how to get to different places that I was planning on going to. About a 5 minute walk to the Orange Line station, or you can use the Archer bus that heads downtown as well. Slept well, with minimal disturbances, after a long day of walking around, a comfortable bed always feels good.

Closest supermarket is on Pulaski about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, plus many fast food places in the same area. If you need a White Castle fix there is one about 1 mile to the east on Archer. Would definitely stay at the Carlton again, helped make my trip to Chicago a blast.

Our room was on the first floor, which was accessible to the parking lot. We were able to park right outside our hotel door. The room appeared to be clean upon arrival , but I did notice previous guest left something unsanitary on the floor in the bathroom. I contacted hotel staff immediately and they responded promptly and remove item and staff did sanitized the area. The hotel provided a courtesy shuttle for your convenience, and a list of restaurants in the area, and suggestions on where to go for entertainment.

I would stay again at the Carlton. Room was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful.The airport shuttle was the best. We left for the airport at 6 am the transport was warm and ready to go. Coming back we flew in at 12:30 in the morning, all we had to do was phone the hotel and 10 minutes later our driver was there to pick us up.
