I found the Roscoe Village Guesthouse on VRBO and I was totally sold by the pictures, it looked so awesome! My fiance, my bridesmaids and I decided to rent a unit to stay together during our engagement party. Let me tell you, the pictures did not disappoint! The apartment felt like home and I wanted to move in right away. The backyard was fantastic and we definitely utilized it! Joe, the owner, was really nice and very accommodating. We plan to come back in the future for our wedding and any other time we have family and friends in town. We loved it!

My wife and I (along with another couple) have just returned to London from a few days break in Chicago. We stayed at this property, which we found through VRBO, and I would highly recommend it. The house is very modern, with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and some nice common living areas. Value for money, especially in comparison to hotels in the area, is excellent. Although I rented a car, it's really not necessary to get to downtown. There are also many great restaurants, cafes and bars in the area...along with some very good shopping down on Armitage. The house was clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. We did find a few ants, but they were quickly eradicated. There are some very good restaurants nearby and Steppenwolf Theatre is just down the road on N. Halsted. We were there in the fall (we had amazing weather), but everything was still lush and green. The area might look a bit stark in the depths of winter, but what area doesn't? Definitely take a closer look at this unit. I also used the nearby Lake Shore Athletic Club on West Fullerton...$25 for a day pass, and it was a really great place.

Just returned from a fabulous three night stay in the 2BR/2BA penthouse at 2104 W. Roscoe, and what a fantastic unit in an absolute perfect location.

Check-in was a breeze. Even met Joe, and he couldn’t of been nicer or more helpful.

Unit was gorgeous; the pictures don’t do it justice. Clean, bright, renovated, beautifully decorated, and all the amenities you would need – coffee maker (as well as the fixins), toiletries, hairdryer, tons of towels, etc….

Kitchen is fully stocked with plates, glasses, etc… and the front dining area overlooking Roscoe is sunny and charming. But doubtful you’ll make a meal since every type of restaurant is within two blocks; whether you’re looking for Italian, sushi, bar food, American, vegan, Latin, and Thai; all right out the door.

Walking distance Wrigley Field, where the tree-lined streets have some amazing architecture.

Don’t miss this place in the heart of Roscoe Village. Just can’t say enough about this unit or location.

We booked through Roscoe Village Guesthouse, after finding it on vrbo.com, and stayed in Hamlin #2. It was a four bedroom, two bath (one with jetted tub), home on the top two floors of a shared townhome. There was a spacious living area, dinning for six with a breakfast bar for an additional two, three comfortable bedrooms downstairs, and one bedroom with large attached sitting area upstairs. The sitting area was more then enough room for our two pack and plays and was very bright with a skylight and large window. The whole home was clean, comfortable, and decorated trendy yet simple without a lot of extra odds and ends laying around. We used our baby gates to bock off the stairs and there are three stairways in the home if you are traveling with litte ones. There is shared laundry in the basement and soap/softener were provided. The neighborhood is great, two parks within a 15 minute walk, Starbucks, shops, and restaurants just a few blocks away, and the bus stop about three blocks from the house. We found it easy to just park the car on the street and take the busses and trains everywhere we wanted to go. It was a great experience and we would stay in the same unit, or another through the same company, again in the future!
