My boyfriend and I stayed here for 7 days. I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was!

The parking was extremely awkward. You have to park with other cars directly circled around you, so the chances of you being able to get out whenever you want is unlikely. The great thing is that parking is FREE (extremely rare in Chicago) and this location is so perfect that we didn't take out our car once. We bought a bus pass for the week (22$ each) and bussed/walked everywhere. The transit system is awesome, was able to hop on a bus anywhere within 5 minutes.

We checked in early, so our room wasn't ready. The staff were kind enough to store our luggage in the back, so we walked around and got a feel for the area. When we came back, we checked into our room and got settled in. The room was very small but manageable for two people who don't plan on spending anytime in our room. We noticed that there were ants in our bed so we politely asked for another room and they were very gracious and did not hesitate to change us! They even gave us two complimentary breakfast coupons. Our second room was perfect, no complaints.

The hotel is located right across the street from a gigantic 2 story Mcdonalds (which was extremely tempting to go to every morning haha). There is an AWESOME pizza place "Gino's Eat Pizzeria" just 10 minutes away if you want to experience some Chicago's deep dish pizza. There is also Hard Rock Cafe and Walgreens nearby. We walked around at night without any fear, it seemed fairly safe.

Although we had a tiny bug problem, they made up for it with their very friendly staff. I would definitely book Best Western again!

We stayed here on a recent business trip to Chicago, and I wasn't expecting much--thinking that the property might be dated and at first I thought the location wasn't that great. But I was (pleasantly) wrong on several points.
This hotel had parking included, which is a huge value. We had a unit with a king sized bed, second floor, that was quiet ( back side of the building, not facing Ohio) and the bedding was comfortable, modern, and clean.
Another surprise was being able to walk to the Merchandise Mart, and there are several great restaurants and clubs within a few blocks--such as Rick Steves Fontera Grill and Blues Chicago. Great winter time values as well. Great experience, and we'll stay again.

We love this hotel. Great location, superior service and free parking to boot. One of the best buys in the city.

The staff were very polite, helpful, knowledgeable and accomodating. It really is a BIG plus that the parking is free. Much of the sites and food venues were within walking distance. A free trolley ride to Navy Pier allowed us to enjoy the landscape and the lake.
This is a great spot to enjoy what Chicago has to offer.
Will definitely come here again!
