Everything about our stay at this hotel was perfect from valet service to checkout!!!

This hotel is different than most I've seen lately because of the way the entrance is tucked away between a restaurant and office building. There is small hallway from front door to check-in to elevator. It has a European feel and in fact many European tourist were staying there.
The room was nice and very comfortable. The walls seem to be thinner than most and hall noise was noticeable.
The most impressive is the housekeeping. It is excellent. They really deserve a mention of this because it is really a cut-above the norm.

I travel 4 days a week for work and stay in hotels all over the country. THIS IS DEF NOT a 4 star hotel. Check out the rankings for the Peninsula Hotel which is accross the street from this hotel and you will see a 4 star hotel. Just stayed in this hotel May 1-4 and this is an old Ramada Inn or similar hotel that has a new name but same inside of a Ramada. This hotel is rundown, dark hallways, beat up walls and moldings, old carpet, etc. The only thing 4 stars about this hotel is the location. Lower your expectations to a 2 star hotel and you will not be disappointed. And whoever is giving this 4 stars, you do not have a clue about what a 4 star hotel looks like.

I recently stayed at this hotel for business. The hotel is centrally located off of Magnificent Mile with easy walking to shopping and restaurants. The hotel is in a older building but the hotel itself and rooms have been renovated to meet the Crowne Plaza standards. The room was clean and sufficient. The hotel does not have hard wire but there is wifi for a fee. The wifi was not stable and it did not always work and it was slow at times. The hotel only have central air unit and if turned on, it is very noisy. No heat or air conditioning or at least I could not get it to work. My room had a window that open and this allowed fresh air. I enjoyed my stay but if you are here for work and you require the usage of the internet, you may want to look into other options or have your own mifi hotspot.
