Stayed here on our way to MI for our family vacation. If I had known there were so many hotels on this path I would have chosen something else, but the price was right. Front Desk was nice, not too sociable(but that is ok). Stayed in a double bed room. Just a room… plain. No fridge, so make sure to ask for a room with a fridge if that is what you want. Pool was just ok, caulk was coming up everywhere and there were no towels. Kids enjoyed it. The best thing about the hotel… the beds. I thought they were very comfortable, and I had my 2 sons in the bed with me;)

This was the worse experience ever. We arrived and was checked into our room to find it full of crickets (dead & alive). When we unfolded the couch it was full of dead crickets. When i ask for more towels because we had 6 people in our party they made us feel like we were trying to steel the extra towels. The room was dirty not just from the crickets but it had not been swept in weeks. When we checked out the manager was very rude when i explained we were not happy with the dirt and crickets. Will NOT stay there and would NOT recommend staying.

This was like luxury for us coming in from a long trip. We immediately on arrival made use of the beautiful indoor pool and spa pool - both very clean and so inviting. The room was great - we had free internet. The bed was incredibly comfortable as were the pillows.

We slept through the breakfast which was included so missed out on that and were woken before our checkout time by a housekeeper - and when I said yes, she seemed embarrassed she had disturbed us. I'm not sure why the housekeepers have to do that - surely its easy for them to find out which rooms are checked out and which aren't?

Overall very relaxing and would definitely stop there again - if we get to I will look forward to it.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels, and this was one of the least impressive Choice hotels I have stayed in. First room I checked into had two smushed spiders on the wall, and a live earwig. Wall was quite dirty with need of repainting. Staff did apologize and give me another room, and it was cleaner, but walls still somewhat dingy and needed a repainting too. If you are travelling alone and just looking for something cheaper, its okay I supposed. But if it is with others, I would consider going to the Comfort Suites down the road, which was pricier but much much nicer.
