I stay here every October while working in nearby Centralia. Every visit has been a pleasant experience.

The rooms are extremely clean and reasonably affordable. The accomodations are basic (basic cable TV, clean bedding, wi-fi, alarm clocks, basic bathroom ammenities), but perfect for business travelers on a budget.

There are very few nearby restaurants (McDonalds is located across the highway), so you will need to drive a mile or two for a meal. The front desk staff has very good recommendations for nearby unique eateries.

Do not use a hotel website to book this hotel. You will get a better rate booking with the hotel directly. Hotels.com gave me the run around....so bad that I will never use them again!
This hotel is a vary basic super 8. Rooms having nothing special...linoleum/ carpeted rooms. no closet. cheaply built/basic quality. Biggest complaint was smoking rooms were right next to the non smoking rooms! Pool area was nice and clean. The best thing about this hotel was the location. Almost shares a parking lot with a brand new Walmart and Mc Donalds. 2 Minutes from the boat ramp. 3 spots in the parking lot for boat/rv parking.
Stay here because of the location or you can pay 20.00 more a night and stay at Carlyle Mariner's Village which is right on the water.

I used to stay at the Mariner's Inn Motel (formally the Microtell) but this year I switched.
I found this hotel much better than the other one.
Granted it is still a Super 8 and not a Hilton but you don't have much choice in this town.
They were much more friendlier and accomodating. You get much better TV selection in the rooms and free Wifi.....the rooms were clean.
There breakfast is not great but the McDonalds and Hardy's are very close and have a better breakfast.

We stay here every time we're in the area to visit my mother in law and have NEVER been disappointed. We've tried both regular rooms as well as the jaccuzi suites. Well maintained motel with a friendly and accommodating staff. Just a few days ago, we stayed here again and was pleasantly surprised how large and spaceous #131 was (def worth asking for at checkin!)--I believe it may have been a handicapped room. The price can't be beat. Breakfast isnt a big issue but there is a McD's across the street. I highly recommend!
