This Holiday Inn is the only 3 star rated hotel on Priceline so I was able to negotiate a $30 discount on Priceline and new that I would get this hotel. Problem is, they put me on the very top floor, the very end room, which was also a SMOKING ROOM, I call this the Priceline Punishment room. When I opened the door, I swear, you could see the smoke in the air. I've stayed in smoking rooms before...last Saturday as a matter of fact...and have never encountered anything like this. There were two bed in the room and the bed I chose to sleep in reeked of smoke, so much so that I kept waking up. So, in the middle of the night I switched beds and found that the other bed had fresh linens. That means they didn't change both beds after the last smoker. Anyway, I complained in the morning and they offered to fumigate the room...no offer to change rooms. I asked them to change the bedding and they did not. But the room did smell better when I got back. Other than that, the room was decent, the furniture and tv older, the desk chair was broken. The personnel were very friendly, but young and, as shown above, not the most accommodating...at least not to Priceline customers. The beds are very firm, which could be a plus or minus, depending on your preference. The loud fan in the bathroom does not turn off. The attached Houlihan's restaurant was fabulous. The food is seriously good and I didn't have any desire to eat elsewhere. There is a Hampton Inn right next door which has softer beds and guarantees your comfort. I think I'll pay a few more dollars and stay there next time.
