had a good time at fat boys . needed a place to lay down .hotel was the best in the area according to all the locals. wasn't a bad place to stay

Seemed to be the only game in town. We had booked two nights, but got a refund in the morning and moved on. The bathroom maybe the smallest example on the planet. You almost had to stand in the tub to close the bathroom door! Noisy and no security on the entrances. Don't stay here if you are a single woman. And don't come in late either, even if you're in a group. In fact, don't stay here at all.

Unexpected hospitality late at night. Staff was great, room clean; no frills other than usual Days Inn rooms. Slept well and woke up to a morning staff with equal hospitality.

Unfortunately this is the best hotel in the area. Indoor access with an outdoor pool (though it was closed when I was there). No Internet access at time of this writing, and about 10 channels on the TV. Right by a truckers gas station, but you can't hear any noise. Not many places to eat in Cairo either, I would suggest Paducah, KY about 45 minutes away if your staying in the area. Lots of restraunts and a Hampton Inn too!
