The Room was not even close to clean! The bathroom was the smaller than a bathroom in a single wide trailer. The hotel owner was a crook! he refused a refund and charged my card for all of the days I had booked even though I left after being their for an hour.

Okay for the price, but wouldn't stay here again unless in the same situation where we were tired and it didn't look like there was another hotel for miles.

Sorry to say but room was horrific.......stained bed mattress, peeling paint in bathroom, musky and dusty, rattling noise from air condition and bathroom vent.
Next time I'll sleep in my car before staying there again....no doubt.

After reading some other reviews I was really concerned about staying at the Days Inn. The group I was traveling with needed to stay very near Cairo which greatly limited our choices. My room was large and clean. The tub and toilet are in one very small room with the sink located in the sleeping area. A plus size person would need to stand in the tub to close the bathroom door! The swimming pool was covered and appeared to be in a advanced state of disrepair. Same for the grounds around the motel. There are no restaurants nearby and the complimentary breakfast was cornflakes, white bread toast, and cellophane wrapped "pastries."
Unfortunately this entire area of Southern Illinois is very depressed and the Days Inn is the only motel in the area for about 25 miles.

had a good time at fat boys . needed a place to lay down .hotel was the best in the area according to all the locals. wasn't a bad place to stay
