we stayed at this hotel July 1st through the 4th. the area is very nice. there is a mcdonalds right across the street and a kids pizza place with rides and mini golf around the corner. there is a walgreens, kmart, and walmart within close proximity as well. the room was very tiny and had the clothes hanging rack in the middle of room where you couldn't help but walk right into it-don't know if all the rooms are designed this way, but this one was. the AC was loud, but worked fine. the beds were tiny but comfortable. the internet was super slow. I did not see a pool anywhere either. the eating area is super small too. and the breakfast is not that good compared to other places that offer similar breakfasts. they had english muffins, white bread, peanut butter and jelly, two kinds of cereal, coffee, apple and orange juice, and milk. so for the money it's probably OK..I did have a problem with the reservation that I made online. I reserved the room for a lower "online ONLY" price but when it came time to check out, they didn't have any record of that, however, I had printed my online confirmation and showed it to them and they did give me that price afterwards. what's the point of making an online reservation for a special price it they aren't going to honor it!! again, the area was nice and all but I will never book a room with Super 8 again, I will stick to LaQuinta. I have never had a problem with them at all.
