“OK for the price”

This is a no frills establishment. The staff was very friendly but the beds are in deperate need of replacement. Our king bed sagged so much in the middle that if it held water you could have bathed in it. The room is clean and the TV is of nice size. The bathroom is very small but clean and the towels are soft. We've stayed at much worse for a lot more money. It's off the beaten path but if the price is right, take a chance.

“Great place to stay near Midway Airport, but far from Chicago”

We stayed at the Days Inn Bridgeview because we flew into Chicago Midway at midnight and didn't want to deal with driving after a long flight. It was definitely worth it for that purpose. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The hotel was quiet and well maintained. It also had a free limited continental breakfast. Overall, it was good for the purpose we used it. It is not close to downtown Chicago or any other attractions in the Chicago area. Frankly if I were traveling for pleasure to Chicago I would not recommend staying there at all, as you would either need to drive into the city (yikes!) or take public transportation from somewhere in South Chicago. There does not appear to be any public transportation, other than possibly a city bus, from the hotel.

“We would stay here again.”

Our experience at the Days Inn, Bridgewiew was positive. It has very easy access to the tollway and to 95th street (12 & 20). The place was clean and the price was reasonable. Any complaints are minimal. The fitted sheet on one of our beds kept coming off, and the safety lock on our room door was actually broken. The breakfast was adequate. They had a nice variety of food, though the breakfast area was a bit cramped for space. The staff was helpful and friendly. We also utilized the workout room. It was not elaborate, but served our purpose. and the equipment all worked!! We would stay here again.

“Comically Bad, but good value through hotwire”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2011

I'll start by saying that I stayed here 3 nights and the staff are polite and the place is reasonable clean and safe. However, the comforters all have cigarette burn holes despite being non-smoking rooms (I saw 3 different comforters in 2 rooms after being switched). The fan/AC/heater thing didn't work in either room until it was repaired the following day. Had an issue with the channel buttons not working on a remote. But the main thing was getting locked out of my room because the safety latch got caught after closing the door. At one point, the guy gave up trying to get me back in the room using a screwdriver and tried to tell me I would have to stay in another room until morning (all my stuff was inside, even my wallet and car keys). Luckily we were able to get me in the room after a long struggle with the door. Finally I got kicked off the wireless internet network while doing work after it accused me of using malicious software - I use a mac and wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary. The 24 hour ban from the Wifi is why I chose not to spend my final night in Chicago here.

I think they are trying and for the price you can't complain. My advice is to invest in new blankets and replace the safety latches so guests don't get locked out of their rooms.

We paid only $38 per night including breakfast. Booked through hotwire. Room was large but very basic. Bathroom is very very small. Breakfast is basic. You need to get to breakfast early as food goes quickly and staff are not quick at refreshing stock.
Getting downtown was easy enough for us. We drove to midway airport parked at the park and ride $4 for the day and then caught orange line train. Takes train about 25 minutes to get downtown. We bought a 3 day pass for $14 which was well used.
There is no fridge or microwave in rooms. You can use a microwave in the room where the ice and vending machines are. Beware that the microwave may not always be clean.

Thank you for your review of the Days Inn of Bridgeview. We take all of our guest's feedback seriously as we use it to improve our future performance in both service and our hotel operations.

I will address with my morning staff the issue you had with our breakfast. We need to continually restock our breakfast items throughout the morning so all of our guests can experience the same variety and quality of items.

Unfortunately at this time we do not have microwaves and refrigerators available in all of our rooms. We do have a limited numbers of micro-fridge available for our guests to use upon request, however they are on a first-come first-served basis.

Thank you again for your comments and I hope you enjoyed your stay.
