The lodging was great, the beds were comfortable and the pillows were too. The breakfast was not something to rave about but adequate. However, we really appreciated the honesty of the employees. Two days after we checked out of the hotel, my college bound son realized that he had left his laptop and charger in the hotel room! We called the hotel immediately and after identifying it, were told that it was in their lost and found. We drove back (luckily we were only 30 minutes from the hotel) and retrieved it. We really appreciated what the hotel had done! Thank you so much, and when we are looking for lodging in Bloomington, IL again, we will definitely choose Baymont Inn & Suites Bloomington to stay in.

Traveling home from a recent vacation, I was searching online for lodging. This hotel was slightly off-route, but the reviews on trip advisor ( and the price) convinced us to try it. Very glad we did. It was quiet, not crowded, VERY nice rooms. The beds were super comfy (soft sheets) and I loved the layout ot the bathroom. It was also the lowest priced room of our entire trip!!! There is a college in the area and we were traveling before school started, so some of these things may differ at busier times. The breakfast was slightly disappointing; they were out of a couple items, but all in all a very pleasant stay.

My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights in a jacuzzi suite. When we arrived at 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning, exhausted from a 6 hour road trip, the staff was very friendly and quick to check us in. Later that evening after sleeping and checking out the town, my boyfriend and I came back to the hotel to a clean room and bathroom. I noticed that the sofa had a stain on it but I didn't need to sit on it so that wasn't a big deal. The biggest disappointment was when I went to use the jacuzzi, it didn't work. However, the next day after checking out I told them the tub didn't work and wasn't thrilled about paying full price for something I didn't get. They were very understanding and told me that they would call me back and let me know what the charges would be. I never received a call but I just got my credit card bill and it looks like they charged me for only 1 night and that is enough to satisfy me! By the way, the beds were very comfortable and the comforter was amazing. I wanted to sleep all day! I never used the swimming pool but my room looked over it and it looked clean and enjoyable to the people in it.

We used an opaque site to book this and I was surprised since Baymont is a 2-star chain, but I received this as a 2.5-star. However, it is obvious that Baymont purchased the property from another chain, and the lobby is beautiful and the rooms quite nice. There are portions of the facility that are run-down, some rooms have sheets over windows and are obviously unoccupied. The location is good, not as far off the highway as some, and family dining, fast food and lots of shopping are in walking distance. We were given a king room with a twin sofabed which worked perfectly for our family of 3. The room also had a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We needed sheets and blankets for the sofabed, which were brought quickly to the room upon request. Breakfast was typical continental plus a waffle maker, but well stocked and kept clean. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations for the brand and we would agree with the 2.5-star designation.
