Stayed there for an evening on a business trip. The room was clean, comfortable and large enough: full kitchen, den-like living room/bedroom, and large washroom. The suites are situated in clusters of four - almost like separate fourplexes - which is unique (an issue if prefer you hotel your rooms in a single building). The staff were friendly.
The only issue was thin walls. Could quite clearly hear the individual below me while he was talking on the phone.

I was traveling to Chicago from the St Louis area and decided to stay because the roads were getting very bad. I was able to get a room for $89 on a Winter Gate-a-way special. The room is a studio style efficiency with a full kitchen, a living room area with a fireplace, desk area, king size (very comfy) bed, and of course a bathroom. There was a complimentary fire log in the room to use and additional logs available to be purchased at the front desk. I couldn't make it home that evening, but this was a great place to rest for the evening. The next morning there was a complimentary breakfast that was very complete. They had everything from cereal to waffles, pre-made omelets and breakfast meats to yogurt and fresh fruit. I can’t imagine the other hotels I called which were $40 more provided such a comfortable environment. Although I didn’t take advantage of these features I do know there is a complimentary happy hour and limo service. (It’s a real limo, not a van!).

This hotel has very nice rooms. Each suite has a full kitchen, dining area, sitting area and bedroom. The rates are very reasonable. The staff is super. They are very friendly and professional. They also provide a free hot breakfast and a happy hour. I will be diffentially staying there when I am in the area.

I am originally from Bloomington and I come home 2 or 3 times a year. We call Eastland suites our home away from home each and every time. We love the feeling of having our own small apartment. We always stay in a King Suite and love every inch of it. The bed is wonderful and the space of the suite is awesome. We seldom hear any noise around us.
The suites are spotless and decorated beautifully. Thank you so much Eastland Suites for making our trips back to Bloomington feel like home again!

I have stayed at the Eastland Suites for over 6 years and every stays has been outstanding. The staff at the Eastland couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating and I would recommend this hotel to everyone. I stayed in the newest addition the E- Whirlpool suite and it was out of this world. Breakfast was great. I have been reserving room blocks for my groups and they have done everything to make my friends just as comfortable and we were able to gather in the upstairs room to socialize and have fun. THANKS FOR ALWAYS MAKING MY STAYS THE BEST.
