We were looking for a place to rest between our "destination wedding" and our local evening reception and this was the perfect spot. Hosts were obviously willing to be a great source of information and assistance, but we just wanted to sleep, so they let us! :-) Breakfast was wonderful, bathroom was clean and spacious and had a jacuzzi tub, bedding and decor was very nice (yes, bed was squeaky and a little soft, but it didn't bother us), and hosts and fellow guests were also very nice. Walking distance to David Davis Mansion, but it wasn't open when we went by. Even when our car alarm was disrupting the silence of the neighborhood, our hosts let us rest. :-)

“Cosy B&B”
We stayed one night at this cosy B&B . We were in the Davis Suite which had a large clean ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was outstanding. Unfortunately we had a rather squeaky bed which wasn't that comfortable.

“Charming B & B”
The Davis Rose Inn was an absolutely charming B&B. The Hotz' were wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond by arranging dinner reservations for us. Every aspect of our stay was enjoyable and was topped off by a delightful breakfast. We left completely refreshed.

“Charming, Historical B&B with Gracious Hosts”
My husband and I were so pleased with our experience at the Davis Rose Inn. Chris and Rose and their family put us completely at ease right from the beginning. They were extremely helpful in getting us a reservation at a restaurant that suited our dining wishes to a T. Our room was fabulous, as was the entire house---full of antiques, history and charm. Chris and Rose were very gracious & helpful, but also very comfortable to be with. We enjoyed their company very much. This was an excellent B&B experience, and we highly recommend the Davis Rose Inn. Thank you, Chris & Rose!!

“Charming, Cozy & Comfortable”

We found this little gem by searching on Google. It is a beautiful Victorian mansion filled with personality and charm. The owners, Chris and Rose, were so hospitable we felt like we were at home. We drove in from Chicago - arrived late - but they were ready to welcome us.
We ordered dinner in from a local Italian restaurant. Rose set the dining room table for us, including lighting candles. Chris lit a fire in the fireplace, which is where we retired after dinner. We had a lovely bottle of wine and some good reading to do.
We stayed in the Davis Room - which is the best in the house! It has a lovely bed, beautiful furnishings, and a spectacular bathroom. The bathroom features a generous whirlpool, definately big enough for two!
Breakfast was wonderful! Chris made an amazing meal which was the perfect start to our day. He even made arrangements for my special diet restrictions.
We would highly recommend this B&B for relxation and romance. Thanks to the owners for the wonderful stay!
