This was the worst stay I have ever had. We checked in on our way home from Wisconsin, after a pretty lengthy drive and long week, due to a somber funeral of a close relative, we were looking for this to be an easy trip, it was not. We walked in to see to homeless men sitting out on the bench like the hotels "greeters" and waited 20 minutes to be waited on. When the attendant got there she acted like we were imposing on her, but we got our key cards and walked up the garbage filled stairs to our wonderful room with a busted lock. Sitting outside the room next to us was a man who asked us if my wife could "help him out" saying she must know what shes doing for us to have so many children. I was so disgusted and frightened that I quickly got my kids in the room. We got in to find a heater with smoke coming out of it, an bath tub with enough hair to fix my balding, and mirrors you couldn't see yourself in. My children were tired and I tried to open the bed for them to lay down for a while while we figured this mess out, but I'd never let them touch it, we asked the front desk for new bedding they said we'd have to wait for houskeeping tomorrow, even though we were unhappy now. We waited for houskeeping the next day and we saw not one member of the staff. Needless to say we didnt stay another night. Went home as fast as possible. What an awful place, never stay there, unless you like feeling violated.
