This place is fine. It's a typical Hampton. The area around Midway is not where you want to be at night. This hotel is in a little fenced off area with another hotel and a few restaurants. Stay inside the fence.

Very nice staff (really really nice). Better than expected free breakfast. Room however was musty/moldy smelling. And there were bugs in the bathroom. (NOT bedbugs, little spiders). Lastly, it was tidy but not really clean - in particular the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and clean though.

This is a good clean hotel with many restaurant choices nearby. It's actually part of a big "hotel complex" with free shuttle service running between all of the hotels and Midway airport. The shuttle runs approximately every 15-20 minutes and is just a few minutes away from the airport. I'd stayed there because of a missed connection on a Southwest flight but I'd stay there again if in the area as it was pretty nice.

My family stayed here this past weekend to party downtown for my sisters birthday. We also flew through Midway airport & loved that it was so close! There's a TGIF Fridays right in back of the hotel along with a Girodanos pizza a couple blocks down. To get downtown was only about 15mins. The hotel room wasn't very spacious, but the bathroom I loved! (weird lol) Overall a very nice hotel. As far as the breakfast went, not very interested & also I watched probably 10-20 people come in the door (obvious to me not guests of the hotel) come in to eat the free breakfast without staff saying anything. Just goes to show what kind of neighborhood the hotel is in. Also, Had to pay $13/night just to park in the hotel lot! That was craziness to me, seeing as it was an open lot between multiple hotels & restaurants.. Nice hotel in a bad neighborhood
