The reviews we read led us to expect a room "just to spend the night in" but this room was AMAZING. Bigger than any room I'd ever stayed in, everything was clean, the room service was from the nearby TGI Friday's restaurant (yum!). Breakfast was great- if you don't think the eggs look appetizing, EAT SOMETHING ELSE. They have a lot from which to choose. The staff at the desk was helpful and friendly, Colleen at the front desk called a cab for us in the morning and then talked to us about where we were planning to go that day. The next day, she remembered us and asked us how our day had gone. So close to airport, shuttles running conveniently throughout the day. On the last day of our trip, we were so tired we decided to just stay in the room. Couldn't have picked a better hotel.

I find hotel choices around Chicago very limited. You either have to stay by O'Hare or Midway or Downtown. I used to always stay at a HIE at Manheim Rd due to prices, new hotel, and NO parking fees, but it's just out of my way to stay there. So I've bit the bullet and pay to park.

The Hampton Inn is either new or newly remodeled. It's a much nicer alternative to the HIE in the same lot which needs updating. I love staying at the Hampton Inn - there are a few good restaurants nearby providing free Wi-Fi which is great if you want to eat and work. There are always parking spaces available and the front desk staff have always been willing to help me out - be it a spare refrigerator for my room or dinner suggestions. Even with the airport so close, it's really not overly noisy. It's clean and comfortable.

Even though I hate paying to park, I'll keep coming back.

We booked this hotel through buyreservations.com as a park/sleep/fly package. Everything was in order when we arrived and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed one night and caught the 5:00 a.m. shuttle from the hotel to the airport. We arrived in plenty of time for our 7:00 a.m. flight out of Midway. We parked our car there for the week and returned the following Friday for another night. The shuttle from the airport was prompt and efficient. Again the staff was friendly and helpful.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean although queen size beds would be nice instead of the full size ones provided.

We would highly recommend this hotel. It is within 5 minutes of Midway Airport and was hassle free.

Had a free night thanks to airline that cancelled flight. (I've stayed here before on business too) This Hampton is GREAT. The afternoon and very early morning staff is supurb. We were a little distressed not being able to make it home. The woman offered us toothbrushes and shaving kits before even signing the sheet. She also gave us a breakfast-to-to bag since we were catching a 4am shuttle to the airport in the morning. Rooms were nice and VERY clean and VERY comfortable. Not as quiet as other Hamptons, but much better than the best Holiday Inn Expresses' I've stayed at. Staff was great and the next moring there were dozens of us ready to get on the 4am shuttle. They ran out of breakfast bags, but gathered all of the available fruit, granola bars and muffins that they had and passed it out to everyone waiting. They called the shuttle service at 3:45am and asked them in advance to send additional shuttles to get us all to the airport on time.
TGI next door and other restaraunts down the street. WalMart and Target within walking distance.
