My husband and I, and our 2 large breed dogs made this extended stay America hotel our home for 4 months, while we were working in Chicago. It is difficult to find a hotel that allows pets, let alone 2 large dogs, but ESA had no problem with it, for a minimal pet deposit. The staff was more than accomodating, and extremely helpful. As stated in previous posts, the hotel did have a smoke smell to it, but you'll have that when it is a combined smoking/non-smoking hotel. It wasn't unbearable. The one downfall was the expensive coin-op laundry facility, at $1.50 per load. But that's coin-op for ya. If we make it to Chicago again, we will definitely stay again!

I was very upset with the fact that I could smell smoke as soon as I walked in the building. I asked if there were any non smoking rooms, I was told "if you smell smoke in your room I will get someone to come and spray some air fresher". Lucky for me I had my asthma machine with me. The bed were hard as sleeping on the floor, the pillows don't cover the bed and the smoke smell never leaves the room.

This hotel is so expensive, and no amenities. First no breakfast (I can live with that), no gym, no pool, no shutttle to the airport. The people from the front desk called some taxi but it said it will take 45 min to 1 hour to arrive and I had my flight scheduled!!!!!. So I had to walk all of cicero and look for some taxi .

So this place was great for what I was there for...a one night stay close to the airport to crash before I headed farther North the next day. Really big room with a kitchen! That part was really cool, and comfy bed and clean bathroom. Really good service too, the lady at the front desk was very accommodating and even gave me free wifi for my one night stay! Awesome!! The only complaint I have is that the room did smell like weed, or rather a combination of weed and something used to cover up the smell...that did bother me a bit, but for one night I didn't worry too much about it.
