Exerything was OK; good location, friendly staff. i can recomend to stay there

me and my finance stayed at the pink palace on sweetest day aka my birthday so the only room that was avaliable was the "rainbow" room we wanted to stay at the wine and roses or the valentines room which are pretty nice but anyways the jacuzzi was nice clean and was the highlight their arent any doors on the washroom u walk straight and so I suggest youre comfortable with your mate. The lat nite staff was RUDE I askes for extra towels to dry off from the jacuzzi and she seemed to get an attuide. Any who we would go bck but we wont be staying in the RAINBOW ROOM NO NO NO either WINE AND ROSES OR VALENTINES. Its not the classiest but its our "spot" and you get free champagne with a suite and if you go online you get $10 off a suite ;)

We 've planned to stop there for the first nignt in Chicago so when arriving at this motel, bad guys were on the parking , and it was no way to stay there....
Not secure at all and the place is not probably protected by a guardian or so.

Well, there is a lot that can be said about this place. It was actually nothing we expected. After not being able to find a room anywhere else, that was atleast halfway decent. We decided to give it a shot.

Other reviews I have read left me expecting some very odd hotel, that was seedy and dirty. It was neither. You check in, get your key, just like anywhere else. Proceed to whichever room you decided upon. There are theme rooms, as well as regular rooms. Photos of each themed room are displayed right next to the front desk. Yes, the rumors are true, they have a bed shaped like a sandwich. Complete with lettuce and tomatoes and all. It was actually quite amusing, and the man at the front desk said it was popular amongst the guests.

We decided upon the jacuzzi room. Upon locating it, after much confusion (there was loud music blaring from inside the room, wich lead us to believe the previous tenants were still there), the clerk assured us that our room was indeed checked out to us and us only.

We opened the door, and were awash in amazment. this was the most ghetto fabulous room I had ever seen. For Christ's sake, there was a CAR STEREO mounted in the bed's headboard!!! From the green marble veneers(sp?) to the pink jacuzzi, which was clean, very clean, in fact, it was cleaner than expected. We were amazed! It was nothing like we expected, it was actually better than we had expected! I was half hoping a normal hotel room, and half dreading a sleazy hotel room complete with stained sheets and dirty floors. Surprisingly enough, it was neither.

I would definetly like to say, if you are not high class enough (or wealthy enough), as I am, for a place like the Holiday Inn, or the Ramada, or Hilton, then this is the place. The parking lot may be a little cramped, but, the rooms are clean, and private. Te atmosphere is a little odd, but you get used to it. And, last but not least, if you are bored, there are plenty of "Movie" channels to view.....
