My husband and I decided to stay overnight at a hotel only because a special restaurant we were going to to celebrate our anniversary was far from our home (and we had a friend wiling to take our kids overnight!). We were only looking for something basic, with simple comforts, at a low price,,,,,The hotel was wonderful! The room was amazingly big and very clean. I thought the bed was very comftortable (my husband thought it was a bit soft - pillow top mattress for a man that loves rock hard mattresses.) The free breakfast was basic fare, but we weren't looking for anything fancy, just a little something to get us going before heading home, and it was more than sufficient for that, and the eating area was spacious, unlike a lot of economy hotels where you're fighting for a couple of tables. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if we had a reason to be in the area.

The guy at the desk checked us and after a mistake on his end overcharged for room after booked and paid by CC and said that is the rate and no way to fix it. refused!! they lost our biz from now on. Beds are cheap and in bad shape (dished in mid)! Old blood stained couch in room and carpet was very worn and smelled. VERY GROSS!

Nice big one-room suites (living room area adjoining the bedroom area) with king-sized beds. Everything seemed very new and clean. Big selection for breakfast, including the usual make-your-own waffles.

We booked this hotel for a weekend get-a-way.  We wanted to take my oldest son on a trip before he went to first grade.  We were going to visit the city of Chicago and Six Flags, Great America, so we needed a place in between. The hotel was very easy to find and it set back in a nice and quiet area.  There is the interstate right by the hotel, but I didn't hear much noise.  When we arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by Ryan and with a smile.  He was very efficient in processing our information and was a very nice guy.  My family and I took our luggage to our room and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room really was.  We had a king bed, with a pull out sofa bed, refridgerater and a microwave. AND it was CLEAN!!  I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness and this place met my standards.  This was perfect for the 3 of us.  This hotel has an indoor pool that is open until 10:00 for children and 24 hours for adults.  They also had a FREE breakfast.  You can make yourself a waffle (which is super easy) or they have cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, muffins, bagels and juice or milk to drink.  You couldn't ask for a better FREE breakfast at the price we paid for the hotel.   We will defintely stay here, again!! Looking forward to our next visit.
