“Very Convenient and friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 December 2011

We stayed a week here, and couldn't be happier with the staff and our room. The staff continually went out of their way for us, and were quite a help in getting directions and information. The front desk staff, especially the first we encountered (Nicole I think) made all the difference in the world. The breakfast was basic (and free) and the staff in the breakfast room were all super pleasant and friendly. This is especially noteable to us, since we were there due to a death in the family, quite stressed and probably not the most friendly we could be. We had to make several changes in the reservation, which were all done quickly, pleasantly and correctly. The prices are good, and compared to other options in Twin Falls, this seems to be the best. Our rooms were spacious and very clean, and I would not hesitate to use this on my next visit.

Room Tip: The rooms with a King bed instead of 2 queens have a lot more space.

“I'll be back if they "green" it up...”

The hotel staff and room were nice, but the breakfast was disappointing. The "fresh" fruit, part of their complementary breakfast was not even good enough to eat and everything they use for the breakfast was environmentally threatening; plastic utensils, styrofoam bowls and plates, paper cups.

“Comfortable hotel and fair Price for our room.”

This hotel was next to the Interstate, easy on and off. The Staff were excellent and friendly. We enjoyed the clean pool and jacuzi. Our rooms were all ready air-conditioned went we got there and very clean. Only $104.00 for our two queen room, and nice large flat screen t.v. We will definately stay there again.

“Not up to Hampton standards but still a good place to stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 August 2011

We ended up staying here because every other place along our route was booked. We'd been riding our motorcycles all day and were exhausted but every room from Stanley ID to Hailey ID was taken. I used my phone to surf to the Hampton site and find the phone number for the Hampton in Twin Falls. They had a room so I reserved it. Another 70 miles of an already 400 mile day and we could relax. Thats a long day on a motorcycle especially when its all on backroads. When I got to Twin Falls I realized we didn't know where the Hampton was located. A quick call and I reached a female who had a very difficult time giving me directions to their hotel. It took me coaching her before she could tell me anything. Sorry but asking her how to get there from the bridge should have been enough but for some reason she just couldn't get it. Like I said above I finally coached it out of her.
When we arrived, the front desk help were ok but not up to the standards I've come to expect from a Hampton. When asked where their luggage carts were located they pointed. There were two workers behind the desk and not one thought to look over the desk and see there were no luggage carts. When we asked where they were the response was "They are all being used". Its was 11:30 at night so I'm pretty sure there wasn't a rush on luggage carts. Not in the mood to press the issue we went up to check out the room and while there the front desk staff changed. Talk about a difference. When my husband went down and asked again about a luggage cart the gentleman actually went and found him one. Why couldn't that have happened the first time?

The room was as expected from a Hampton so no issues there. The breakfast was better than expected though. Scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles you name it they had it. It was nice to see it fully stocked when it would be closing in 10 min.

Thank you for staying at Hampton Inn. You experienced a new front desk agent being trained, and because of your input we will be sure to include better basic direction information in future trainings.
We're glad you were able to have a restful sleep after your long day, and that you were able to enjoy our breakfast before hitting the road again.

“Don't stay here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 August 2011

This hotel stay was ridiculous. The front desk staff was very rude, the breakfast staff was rude and lazy. They do not use "green" products for the breakfast service like other Hamptons. The room smelled like old B.O. The wifi is slow and not up to date. The in room desk chair was broken and they wouldn't get me another one. The toiletries were the bare minimum, no body wash, lotion, or mouthwash but the room rate was on the high end. No free diamond member upgrade even when the rooms were available. No coffee cup sleeves. They cut corners everywhere possible.

We are sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. We appreciated you letting us know that there was a problem with your desk chair, and it was promptly replaced when you notified the front desk of the problem. We traditionally get many compliments on the courtesy of our staff, and on the great breakfast we provide.
In checking on the lack of a complimentary upgrade being provided, I understand your disappointment, but found that there were none available on the nights of your stay. We value our Diamond members and hope you will give us another opportunity next time you are in town.
