“A great value for the money.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2011

I stayed here for 7 nights and was satisfied with the place. The price: $199.00 for a week which works out to less than $28.00 per night. There are laundry facilities onsite which I used and they worked well. Despite what some of the other reviews say about no ammenities, my room had a fridge, microwave and a television that all worked well. The water did take a while to heat up but it did heat up after about 3 minutes or so. The maint guy was helpfull and freindly and quickly fixed any problems I had that week. I did have to pay the 3 bucks for internet acces a few days but I realy didnt mind. I just paid it days I spent a lot of time in the room and skipped it on days I was out. It aint the Marriot - but it served it's purpose just fine.

“pass this one by”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2011

This might be the worst Motel 6 we have stayed at. Traveling with a big dog it can be hard to find a place to stay so motel 6 tends to be an easy fit. This motel they had stuffed 2 full beds into a room that should have only had one Queen and each was propped with one side against a wall, the mattresses where worn out, sheets did not fit and the blankets where a step below old army blankets. The place had been remodeled recently but with pergo floors which where already peeling up in the bathroom and the sink was so cracked around the drain I was amazed it did not leak. The nicest part of the room is the new shower unit.

“bare bones basics”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2011

I stayed here with my 3 dogs. The room was teeny tiny (but clean)........it contained one bed that took up the entire room (it was a queen bed but seemed smaller....maybe because the room was so small)......no microwave or fridge. Inexpensive yes, but I have stayed at other inexpensive motels with better amenities. I would not stay there again. Also, the room had a stinky smell to it....I had to open the windows to air it out.

“A standard Motel 6”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 September 2011

I was greeted by a cheerful person, directed to my room (at the back of the property, which is the quietest, had a good nite on a standard Motel 6 bed...read that as good enough, but not thick and cushy. If they had more expensive beds, they'd have to charge more!
This motel has removed carpets and replaced with wood-laminate flooring, which looks much nicer, and is probably easier to keep clean.
All in all, a good experience.

Room Tip: a room at the back is the quietest.

“WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN AND AGAIN!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2011

We just concluded a trip to Montana and then down through Yellowstone. On the first night of our trip, we stayed at this motel. It was VERY reasonable and the room was clean. Hot shower was nice and the beds were comfortable. Grandson forgot his swim suit so he didn't visit the pool but we saw others enjoying it. For a grand total of $53.99 it couldn't be beat! We stayed with friends in Montana and then on our way home, we decided to stay at a Super 8 in Idaho Falls. We should have drove on to Twin Falls and Motel 6 again! After we checked in to Super 8, we went around to the door the desk clerk told us to use to enter from the parking lot and our slide-keys wouldn't open the door. The couple who checked in after us, arrived with their luggage at the same door and tried their keys...no luck! Both the guys went in search of another door to get us into the place while we stayed out in the hot sun, waiting! While they were gone, another couple arrived at the same door and used their key and it finally worked! The guys returned and said the desk clerk couldn't help us! He was having a cigarette break! Once in, The Super 8 was HOT! No air conditioning in the halls or elevator. Our room was hot. We turned on the air conditioner and went to a restaurant while it was cooling off. Showered in cold water that evening as there wasn't any hot water! AND ALL THIS COST US $100.00! DON'T STAY HERE! If you can make it to Twin Falls, stay at Motel 6!
We won't be making this mistake again! Oh, our room was #158 and we were pleased with it. It is on a quiet end in the back.
