We just concluded a trip to Montana and then down through Yellowstone. On the first night of our trip, we stayed at this motel. It was VERY reasonable and the room was clean. Hot shower was nice and the beds were comfortable. Grandson forgot his swim suit so he didn't visit the pool but we saw others enjoying it. For a grand total of $53.99 it couldn't be beat! We stayed with friends in Montana and then on our way home, we decided to stay at a Super 8 in Idaho Falls. We should have drove on to Twin Falls and Motel 6 again! After we checked in to Super 8, we went around to the door the desk clerk told us to use to enter from the parking lot and our slide-keys wouldn't open the door. The couple who checked in after us, arrived with their luggage at the same door and tried their keys...no luck! Both the guys went in search of another door to get us into the place while we stayed out in the hot sun, waiting! While they were gone, another couple arrived at the same door and used their key and it finally worked! The guys returned and said the desk clerk couldn't help us! He was having a cigarette break! Once in, The Super 8 was HOT! No air conditioning in the halls or elevator. Our room was hot. We turned on the air conditioner and went to a restaurant while it was cooling off. Showered in cold water that evening as there wasn't any hot water! AND ALL THIS COST US $100.00! DON'T STAY HERE! If you can make it to Twin Falls, stay at Motel 6!
We won't be making this mistake again! Oh, our room was #158 and we were pleased with it. It is on a quiet end in the back.
