“Great Newer Hotel”

Stayed here for a business trip and it was a enjoyable experience. The rooms were comfortable and reasonably sized. The rooms and the rest of the facilities were very clean and well maintained, and the staff was really friendly. Plus, there were ample outlets on the desk and the night stand, so no digging to find somewhere to charge your phone.

They have these adjustable bed things with a dial you can go from firm to soft, after playing around with it a few nights I honestly noticed no difference between either extreme setting. Though, maybe my bed was just busted. Though in general, the bed, pillows and linens were quite comfortable.

There is a decent enough restaurant on site. Which also means plenty of room service meal options. It does also mean, unlike a lot of hotels, there is no free breakfast. That and their little shop doesn't get used or updated much. (Their Cokes still mentioned a promotion that ended seven months ago).

But over all a good stay and a good experience.

Room Tip: Back (north) facing rooms face an empty field, and front (south) facing ones face a pretty major roa...

“LOUD heating unit in our room!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

This was our second time staying here in a year and while the hotel remains extremely clean, the heating unit in our room (230, I think) was incredibly loud. Every time it kicked on there was this tremendous squeal....not good! We couldn`t move to another room because they were sold out due to the huge gymnastics tournament in town. When we checked out we were not offered an apology about the inconvinence or even a free breakfast coupon. Surprised me too, because the gal seemed polite enough but for some reason didn`t seem to much care that we only got about three hours sleep. I like the property and may look someplace else to stay next year when we head back to Twin Falls for our daughters gymnastics meet. I will say the night bartender was friendly and was on top of things throughout the night. I just wish the hotel would have done something about the terrible nights sleep we got.

“Elegant Hotel & Friendly Staff!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2011

Traveled to Twin Falls, ID to visit family and we (5 adults) stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn and the hotel is beautiful (opened May 2009). We were initially planning to stay next door at the La Quinta but they would not provide an extra roll-away bed for our 5th person which would have doubled the cost (the roll-away bed was actually not bad comfort wise).
The hotel is located next to the impressive Snake River Gorge so you can get a great view if you get a top floor, north facing room. There is also a trail leading from the hotel, down along the gorge and I suggest you check it out for a nice short morning walk.
The hotel is very new looking and well kept. Rooms are excellent, big, tall ceilings, nicely furnished, and widescreen HDTV. You get your own microwave and refrigerator which is handy. The pool/hot tub area are great too as is the gym.
Take note that breakfast is NOT complimentary. There is a small restaurant downstairs with a full breakfast menu. You can purchase a complimentary style breakfast for a minimal additional charge or you can get the full restaurant-style hot breakfast (made to order and very delicious) for $10 per person.
When we arrived at the hotel there was a mistake and we were sent to an already occupied room. Even so, the wonderful and friendly staff notified us quickly before we walked in and embarrassed ourselves and were generous enough to promptly fix the error. Furthermore, they even provided all 5 of us a free hot breakfast (a $50 value) due to their error.
You won't be disappointed with this hotel!

“New and convenient”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

We made a last minute decision to stay in Twin Falls and chose the Hilton Garden Inn. It is a new property in a great location. Convenient to shopping and dining. Speedy check-in; plenty of free parking; great room; clean.

“One of the best properties in Twin Falls”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2011

My family recently stayed here after coming back to Twin for our class reunion. This is a great addition to Twin Falls. The rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are nice. The location makes it necessary to have a car, but you pretty much need a car for any hotel in Twin Falls. Lots of free parking. A new restaurant has opened fairly close to the hotel - I believe it is called Elevation 438 ?- and it was excellent. Gorgeous view of the canyon. The front desk people were all very professional. The restaurant does serve breakfast - we didn't try it but heard it was good, and does serve a dinner in the evening. The only negative - and it certainly was not the hotel's fault - is that I find it fascinating that people will stay in a hotel and think it is cute for their kids to have races up and down the hallway when they have nothing else to do - yelling and screaming the whole way with the parent's deciding who is the winner!
