“Creepy massage”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 December 2011

I had the Mango Honey Butter massage with Bill, the owner of the inn and spa. I am not particularly sensitive nor do I have any issues with massage or touch and have been getting massage regularly for over 20 years. This one was downright creepy. He repeatedly asked whether or not his touch was too intimate throughout the massage, making something that wouldn't have been a problem become one. Then at one point in order to extend down my arm he leaned all the way over and laid his torso down completely on my back and said, "Well you do have long arms dear." The music in the background was also unsettling and I checked the iPod before leaving to discover it was on a Tantric soundtrack, which explained why by the end the music was incorporating moans and groans. I would never return here (which is sad because it is a beautiful location) and I'd also warn off anyone I knew from going there. Cuh-reeeepy.

The Mango Honey Butter Massage involves first applying a warm product to the body and then using hot towels to remove it. A manual massage follows in what most guests describe as the ultimate massage experience. We try to ask a client to let us know immediately if anything feels uncomfortable throughout their massage session. We certainly regret we did not meet your expectations in regards to this and we will reevaluate our protocol of asking guests about their comfort level.

“Can hardly wait”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2011

Been going to Meadow Creek Inn and spa for years and can hardly wait for our next trip through the area so I can get the best massage ever! Accomodations are charming and comfy. Staff is top notch. Fishing in the area is wonderful and the scenery is breathtaking. Don't miss going to the top of the hill where the chapel with the stain glass windows are.

Room Tip: Each room has it's own theme, can't go wrong.

“A little slice of heaven!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2011

Meadow Creek Inn and Spa in Stanley ID is definitely worth visiting-more than once! This is our second trip and will not be our last. They offer a package that includes an overnight in a cozy, theme room (tastefully decorated and spotless) plus an awesome massage, followed by a beverage of your choice (wine, beer, juice, soft drinks). Before or after your massage, relax on the veranda or swing/chair and marvel at the majesty of the Sawtooth Mountains. Have dinner at the Sawtooth Hotel or Redfish Lodge, both have an outstanding menu, haute cuisine. Unfortunately, the Meadow Creek Inn closes during the winter months, but come spring, be sure to plan your visit. You will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: All rooms have double beds except for the Caribbean room which has one queen.

“What a pleasant surprise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2011

First timer at the Meadow Creek Inn and was I in heaven! Charming first impressions, super nice receptionist, CLEAN & well appointed rooms, comfortable bed with fresh, crisp linens, mini fridge, robes, shampoo & body wash,...perfect for the fussiest of people! My Mother in Law could stay here and that says ALOT! Loved the massage from BILL and appreciated all the ammenities: ice cold water readily available, hot water for tea, glass of wine, ice cold beer, fresh juice,...and the views were breathtaking. Personally I would highly recommend this hotel and spa ***** 5 star all the way.

Room Tip: The Rose room was perfect for 2! Couch that pulled out to bed (already made up for us) was super co...

“Great service and spa”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 August 2011

This is a cute motel with small but creatively decorated rooms in a spectacular setting. We found the accomodations pleasant and loved sitting out back in the private yard with an amazing view. The spa treatments were good especially when followed by the complimentary glass of wine and private time in the hot tub. The owners were able to accomodate our special requests for timing our spa treatments and were very gracious about it. Highly recommend.
