This was the best customer trip that we have ever put together, we do several trips per year with our customer base. We had reserved the whole talus rock lodge and we brought 7 customers with us. Heather went above all our expectations to give us a great time, this is truly hard to do when dealing with 7 different people. Everything was great, food, lodging, ease of getting around Sandpoint, and her ability to stay on top of everything that we needed. I will be bring my family back to the lodge next August to spend a week at their great lodge.

This is by far the absolute best bed and breakfast we've ever stayed in. Our host Heather was amazing and a wealth of information to make our stay memorable. If you are looking for the feel of home away from home you've landed. Great recommendations on the local food was very much appreciated and right on target. House is incredible and very comfortable. Our one regret is that we didn't spend a couple extra days chillaxing in this perfect retreat. Thanks Heather! This was a highlight of our 5000 mile Northwestern Adventure. We stayed in 15 hotels but this B&B smoked them all. If you take a second glance at price know that the proceeds help an incredibly worthy cause. Susan and Cope....Navarre Florida

Room tip: Tree room is the best and very unique

We reserved the entire talus rock lodge for three nights to entertain customers. Heather went above and beyond as a host. The accomodations were excellent as were the catered meals. The beauty of the lodge and surroundings made for a great trip. Heather set us up with a master fishing guide named "fish-in jimmy" he was extremely good. Anyone of our group would gladly return to talus rock! Heather runs an excellent show!! Thanks heather, my customers are still talking about our great stay at talus rock!!!

We were so pleased with Talus Rock and had the most relaxing time. The house and grounds are amazing and quiet. We where given some recommendations for dinner and the place they told us about was so amazing! Our room wasn't a room but the bottom floor. We had our own kitchen and living room. We will be staying there again for sure. It was a perfect way to spend our 20th wedding anniversary. We didn't want to leave!!

B&Bs, like Talus Rock Retreat, are so much better than the hotel options. You feel like a member of their family, you're invited into their house, you're made to feel welcome. Talus was great. Very friendly, wonderful rooms, tremendous ambience, furnishings from around the world, expansive views, huge back yard for walking around, etc.

The only room for improvement is breakfast. Talus is listed as a B&B; however, breakfast was really no more than granola, toast, fruit, and something to drink.
