“Lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

Lovely was the first word that came into my mind as I toured the lodge. Since I was the first arrival that day, I was able to select my room. It was a hard decision because they were all so beautiful and had nice views. I chose the room that had a nice desk in it so I could use my laptop comfortably. Free wi fi was a bonus. Each bedroom had a private bath that was impeccably clean. The living room area was warm and cozy and always had a nice fire. Breakfast was delicious too. The host, Dave, however, was the biggest bonus. He was full of local information and kept me posted on road conditions since I was traveling in January. I can't wait to go back to visit Syringa Lodge again and bring the rest of my family with me.

“Great place - we will return”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2011

We recently stayed here with a group of friends driving from Missoula for skiing at Lost Trail Pass and Chief Joseph. The lodge is a lovely, friendly place to stay in a beautiful location with incredible mountain views. The rooms are nicely decorated and there is so much history. The hosts made us feel at home -- there is a big, comfortable living room area to sit around the fireplace. Very enjoyable breakfast. I highly recommend and will return.

“Continued excellence...continued value!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 November 2011

I do not need to reiterate the wonderful reviews the Syringa has received. I whole-heartedly concur. We first stayed at the Syringa about 4 years ago, and this month stayed again. The place remains lovely and the inkeepers remain wonderful hosts. The only thing I can add is that the Syringa truly must be one of the best values (high end accomodations for a very reasonable price) in the West. Do try to stay there if you are headed through western Idaho....

“What a place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 November 2011

My husband and I stayed at Syringa Lodge for 1 night on our way to the Yellowstone in September. Our room was perfect as was the view from the 2 balconies. The suggestion made for dinner was appreciated and breakfast was a delight. Everything about Syringa Lodge was impressive from its log construction to the hospitality of its hosts. Imagine our surprise to come face to face with the local deer on the driveway. We would highly recommend Syringa Lodge.

“Favourite Stay of our Holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2011

We have just returned from 3 weeks touring parts of Colorado, Wymong, Montana, Idaho and Utah. This brilliant B & B was our favourite accommodation of the trip. Syringa Lodge has wonderful 360 degree scenery from its many balconies and they provide stunning views of sunrise, sunset and visiting wild life etc. The hosts are wonderfully hospitable and knowledgable on the local area, breakfast is 1st class and you have the added bonus of chatting to like minded guests who are also enjoying a stay. The accommodation is pretty, homely and spacious, with all that you need to relax completely. We would highly recommend Syringa Lodge to others and will return to revisit Yellowstone from the West.

Room Tip: We viewed all rooms, which are all individually decorated.
