“Unbelievable Hospitality in Salmon Idaho”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2011

Good afternoon,
I have to report about the experience we had in regards to our stay At The Sacajawea Inn in Salmon.
5 of us were biking through Montana and Idaho on our annual trek.
It all started during check Inn, we were greeted so friendly and respectfully, we all knew it was going to be a great experience.
The rooms were some of the cleanest we had encountered on our trip, and we stayed in a different place each evening.
We had been on a long ride that day and were weary but wanted a bite to eat, the owner must have sensed that and offered to drive us into town to have a bite to eat(they even offered to pick us up), I was so impressed with that offer I had to write and commend this hotel/inn. It's not far to town, you can easily walk, but what a great gesture.
We had a great nights sleep as the area is very quiet and peaceful, the inn provided a great homemade breakfast for a very reasonable cost.
If anyone is traveling through this area I recommend the Sacajawea Inn, you will feel like you are at home.

Room Tip: It's a small Inn, they have great rates.

“What a delightful place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 August 2011

I have to come in to town on several occasions during the summer to make some confidential business calls, as I have no cell service at my remote cabin. The folks here are incredibly accommodating. They make sure I have a place to make my calls, even after I have to check out of our hotel room. They welcome me, my husband and our dog warmly. Our room is always in fine shape, very reasonably priced and comes with a great breakfast, homemade by the owners. Everyone is very friendly and our stay always quite pleasant. I look forward to returning.

“One of the nicest inns I have ever stayed in!! I will definitely be back.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2011

This little indepent owned motel is spotless clean, quiet, and very economical. Good sleeping bed, mattress looks brand new. We are currently spending a week here. The owners are so friendly. All of the rooms have a different mural painted on the wall. The rooms are small, but sufficient. Very nice step in shower, which we prefer, but no tub. Nice hardwood floors, no carpet, another thing we prefer. It is old, but very well kept. Also microwave and refrigerator. Owner cooks made to order breakfast every morning from 7-9 for $3 each which includes everything! The scenery here in Idaho is beautiful, and the weather is wonderful right now, highs of 80s and lows of upper 40s. We are from Texas and the weather there is horrible this year. The couple that own this motel cooked supper Sunday for everyone who was staying here!! FREE!! Grilled steak or chicken breast, baked potatoe, steamed squash, corn on the cob, cottage cheese, tossed salad and dessert (pumpkin cake or apple cake with whipped cream)....everything homemade!! Where could you get treated any better?? He said he does it every Sunday evening for his guest....talking about making you feel welcome. If you ever come to Salmon, ID, don't miss this little gem!!

Room Tip: I would recommend making reservations in advance. There is no swimming pool, but a spa and a hot tub...

We had a great stay here! The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was so quiet and reasonably priced! The lady we talked with was so pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a comfortable "at home" feeling place to lay their head!

We had a great trip to Salmon and very much enjoyed our stay at the Sacajawea Inn. The room was very nice and the folks in the office very helpful. Let's not forget to mention the awesome breakfast for just $4.00
We will be staying here whenever we are in the Salmon, Idaho area.

Room Tip: Book your room early. They fill up fast.
