“a great getaway!”

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Lodge. The room looked out to the lake on the second floor. The room itself was very spacious, clean and very comfortable. No road noise could be heard.
The room was great, but the lobby was a great place to sit by the fire and read a book.
The lodge wasn't very busy as it was mid week, and the customer service was excellant.
Breakfast was pretty good, a light breakfast is what I really enjoy and a light breakfast it was.
All in all, my wife and I will return. The lodge is right on the lake and I can imagine that when the lake is full of water, the beach will be a great place to sit and relax.

Room Tip: the room we had was on the second floor looking out onto the lake that had an awesome view. it had...

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

Spent New Year's Eve here with several other couples and will be back! Beautiful view, outstanding customer service and a well-appointed room. Spend more for a room on the lake side--it's definitely worth it. We didn't have any problems with road noise. Beds are very comfy. It's not "in town," but is across the long bridge that leads into Sandpoint. The bridge has a great walking path, though, if you're up for a two-mile hike. Lots of great common areas if you're here with a crowd.

“Great Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

We spent the night here on New Years Eve and had a fantastic experience. We would definitely go back. The rooms were very spacious, very clean and great comfortable beds. Our room overlooked the lake and I can imagine that this would be a great summer get away. The hotel staff was very nice and accomodating . I would highly recommend this hotel and we are planning a return visit for our anniversary in April. The only negative is if you have a 1 bedroom suite if you do have people on the sleeper sofa for them to get to the bathroom they must enter the master bedroom. This wasn't an issue for us as we were by ourselves but something to remember if you are sharing a suite. This is a definite must stay at hotel.....and a very easy drive to Sandpoint.

Room Tip: The oen bedroom suites can sleep up to 4 and are very spacious.

“Great Lodge, great view and great value!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2011

My brothers and I recently enjoyed a male bonding getaway at the Lodge at Sandpoint. The view from our room of the lake and mountains was incredible. The all wood finished lobby with stone built wood burning fireplace, complete with crackling fire, were right out of an old movie - very cool. The 1000 sq. ft. Penthouse Plus suite was perfect for us and at $199 it was a great value. Rooms at nearby Schweitzer Mountain resort were 3 - 4 times as much with their 'Holiday rates'. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner, at the next door restaurant, Forty One South, which also featured a crackling fire. We had a great time at the Lodge at Sandpoint.

“Great view of the lake and mountains”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2011 via mobile

If you book here obtain a lake view, it's a must otherwise your missing out. The service is above standard for most resort locations the staff really went above and beyond. We had our infant with us and they were helpful and accommodating to all our needs. The food at the resturant next door was above average ....we would go back
