The River View Motel at the North end of Riggins is quiet and clean. It overlooks the Salmon and has steps leading down to the beach. We stay there 2-3 times per year. I like to go down under the canopy of trees that are in a little cove and just listen to the river. We can have our dog there. The motel has a public porch on the river side where guests can BBQ and sit. I prefer the River View to the large, more modern hustle and bustle of the lodge near the South end of Riggins. We are quiet people and we like quiet places.
