“Not too bad if all you want to do is sleep”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

Beds were not uncomfortable though the spreads were pretty dirty/stained. We just removed them. Breakfast in the lobby is pretty much a joke even at the low price, paid for it went in and then could not even eat ANYTHING there. The lady said she would get me a refund, never happened. Kids enjoyed the hot tub, until a drunk went in and harassed them. Just not a good experience over all.

“good stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

Stayed at Ramada Inn Pocatello dec 28,2011 and after reading all the bad reviews were prepared to give up our confirmed reservations, however were very pleasantly surprised with the decor, quality of the facilities, room, bed and service. Being well travelled and non smoking my fiance and myself have much to compare and quite frankly I would recommend this hotel to my best friends. We even met the manageress who was a charming, hands on person who would not likely be in charge of a hotel so badly described in the reviews on this site. Puzzling indeed. even the Christmas decorations in the spacious lobby were festive and tasteful. Don and Bev

Room Tip: we had a ground floor King size bed and was spacious. the hotel is older however we were very comfor...

“Doesn't even deserve 1 star - buyer beware!”

Drove 14 hours overnight as my client was performing and headlining there. Was greated at 11am by a lady at the desk who's customer service was below average. Another lady working there bardged in and told us we couldn't check in for all the reasons and was EXTREMELY rude while the other lady continued to check us in. NOT a way to treat a chart topping performer who has performed internationally and has driven 14 hours to perform at YOUR hotel. The room was disgusting, there was hair in the bed, stains on the sheets and pillows and it stunk of cigarette smoke and was just dirty. We were on our way out of the room to check out when we got a very rude phone call from the front desk telling us it was 11am, why weren't we checked out etc, the clock in our room was wrong and said 10:39am. Again, NOT a way to treat a performer who had the crowd had LOVED the night before. Terrible Terrible place to stay, I was DISGUSTED by the customer service - I will NOT be allowing my client to perform at that hotel again. Beyond disgusted - The place STUNK despite we were in a "non smoking room", it was FILTHY, there was cigarette ash in the room, the water made my skin itch which my client also complained about, the customer service was absolutely shocking. The place was just over all disgusting.

“Average Hotel,Nothing Fancy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

Pros:
close to shopping and restaurants
My husband and I felt safe here
the room is fair large enough and comfortable
free wi fi
didn't have to put a cash deposit or had to have a credit card upon check in
(like some other hotels in the area being so close to a college)
friendly staff
the room was clean and had no bugs in the room
had a pleasant nights sleep

Cons:
breakfast that they offer, is NOT free,it is $2.99 +tx per person
breakfast is pretty much a basic breakfast of
scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, danishes, toast and cereal along with juice and coffee and you can not go back for 2nds (not a buffet)
I just think this place is too pricey for what they offer.

“Not worth it”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2011

We stayed here on Thankgiving and the day after. We had always thought that Ramad's were great hotels. That was until we stayed at the Ramada in Pocatello. The room was run down and dirty. The hot tub was cold. The faucet for the tub/shower did not work. To top it off, the housekeepers knocked loudly on our door before nine in the morning, waking us up to ask if we wanted service. There were overfilled trash cans by the exit doors. The breakfast that was offered for a fee was a joke. This hotel should not have the Ramada name. Motel 6 would have been a much better place to stay.

Room Tip: "Go to a different hotel"
