Due to work, I've had the...um... "pleasure"... of staying in a variety of cities in the Pacific Northwest. I can tell you that staying in the Nampa area over the past 5 or so years has gotten better and better. I've been staying at the Hampton Inn since it opened. I love the way the staff greets me by name when I arrive. I love the cookies or fruit in the lobby. I love that when I dash out the door in the morning, I can grab a brown-bag of fruit, bottled water, muffins, and a cereal bar. (Of course they have the hot breakfast availalbe too) It's consistent. And welcome, when you're not at home. The rooms are spacious, clean and light. I have no complaints with the decor - contemporary, without being cold. When I've accidentally left something, they've been quick to ship it for me. The location is right next to the Idaho Center and the Auto Mall. There's a super Walmart across the street and an increasing number of restarurants popping up in the area. All they need now is a decent, nicer lounge for travellers to have an adult beverage. :)

Oh and a tip - sometimes vendors leave wine. They can't sell it, but if you ask, sometimes they'll comp you a bottle.

There isn't anyplace else I'd stay on the West side of Boise.

I was in town to see family and attend a drum corps event in Nampa. The hotel feels almost new, the staff very personable and responsive, the rooms clean and nicely furnished. The Hampton bed was awesome and just what was needed after a long day of driving. Breakfast was the usual, but unhurried and pleasant. The location was perfect and with easy access to the highway, places to eat and a super duper Walmart just across the street. Everything was really nice and if they could just add a bit of sound proofing : ) for the hallway and other rooms noise it would have been perfect!

What a great stay! It is wonderful to find a hotel that knows how to treat it's guests.
A pleasure to do business with the Hampton Inn Nampa. This location is clean and convenient, near the interstate but not too close to be noisey. There is a Wal Mart right across the street and a Fed Ex Kinko's in the same center.
Justin set up my meeting and he did a SUPER JOB! I cannot give him enough KUDOS. He knows his stuff! The lobby and breakfast area were both clean and bright. I would highly recommend this location that is about 20 minutes from Boise.

Used to live in Seattle, stayed here many (5-10) times with my young kids to see family in ID or UT. Always a wonderful experience, good value for HHonors points, even made the return trip home fun when I didn't want to go back to Seattle to work. One family member joined HHonors after staying here 2 times.
