Our Jacuzzi Room #213 at this Hampton Inn in Mountain home was terrible! While I booked a non smoking room (which the front desk confirmed) we received a room that had an awful Oder.
The room smelled badly of smokers.
I contacted Jessica at the front desk immediate and there were no other rooms with a Jacuzzi at the establishment, and since my wife and I had no bathing suites, for the other guest jacuzzi, we elected to try to tough it out. Also note I asked Jessica to come smell the room which she did not.
This was my birthday and was to be a special occasion. Jessica offered a free movie (which had a horrible picture) and 50% off and some Frabreze to spray to help with the smell.
I said ok as this was better than nothing. and I was just tired of the whole fiasco at that point.
However the smoke lingering in the room caused a very bad headache after sleeping / being subjected to it / for such a long period. All of our clothes had the cigarette smell in the morning also.
I noted the in room movie that was allowed would have cost $15.99 for a terrible picture but since it was at no charge and I wanted to try and enjoy my Birthday with my Wife.
We didn't want to spend all evening on the phone with the front desk, then be disturbed by yet another "maintenance man" we just put up with it.
50% off with a movie we could not see does not make up for the Birthday Memory we would have enjoyed had the hotel delivered what we booked in the first place.
I ask you, who would want to spend $120 on a room then, be disturbed the few awake moments you were there? Horrible experience but the breakfast was good, would have been better had I not had the cigarette headache.
Note the other channels on the television were fine.
Just the Pay $15.99 for a movie was a horrible picture.
