We didn't know anything about McCall Idaho, and the first thing we saw on arrival was the hotel McCall, situated at the corner where highway 55 makes a left at the lakefront, with its welcoming feel and friendly staff. We loved the recreation of an italian village square, complete with bocce lanes and a bistro. The entire stay was magical - food was delicious and the entire experience was without equal. There may be more luxurious hotels, but I haven't stayed anywhere more welcoming and comfortable, specially in such a gem of a location!

The center of the greatest place to vacation. Hotel Mccall has it all the lake is beautiful the perfect temperature skiing jet skis sailing golfing night life summer and winter we always have a great trip. The food at Ruperts is delicious and very reasonable with a fantastic view.

Large spacious queen room, with unique furnishings and clean bathroom. Hardly anyone staying there when we were there. The bed was comfortable. Nice respite after a day of snowboarding. Good downtown location in the thriving metropolis of McCall ;). Room rate was a bit high and I'm guessing that was why no one was staying there. Stay if you are not on the cheap but remember you are in McCall, Idaho not Aspen.

Ok, a good friend recommended this hotel. I called and reserved two nights. The room was very nice, with a nice jetted tub, and spacious. The hotel is in a very nice location, and we enjoyed staying in McCall, and renting a boat for the day and having a great dinner on the water. If you want to disconnect from the world, not be reached, not be able to reach anyone for any reason, then this is the place for you. My AT&T blackberry did not work at the hotel, barely works in the entire area. The room phone did not work, probably because the woman who checked us in, did not bother to turn it on !!! I needed to call out, and could not. I went down to the desk and waited and waited at 10:30 at night, and no one was there. The TV was on, the security system was on, but no one was there to help me. The person who checked us in, I would give a 3 on the scale of 10. The second person that was at the desk today had a hard time understanding that I was looking for a health club in the area. The checked me in for one night, and my room keys did not work. So sad. A wonderful physical place with everything to make it work, but the staff did not measure up and the systems you need to have to get people to stay here for business and pleasure, are non existent. The room phone does not even work. It is 2010 and you can not even get on the Internet with any reliability.
